CP4

Crestron® CP4 is the 4-Series™ control processor that integrates different systems on a single platform for modern smart home/corporate/government projects. Its multi-core CPU and 2 GB SDRAM / 8 GB flash memory easily manage advanced automation. It offers extensive integration with Gigabit Ethernet, Cresnet®, 8× IR, 3× COM (RS-232/422/485), 8× relays, and 8× Versiport I/O. Remote preparation/management with XiO Cloud®, room monitoring/scheduling with Crestron Fusion®; IT-friendly integration with BACnet and SNMPv3. It supports Apple® HomeKit® pairing and is suitable for rack-mount installation.

Thanks to its modular programming architecture, up to 10 separate programs can run concurrently on the CP4. This structure allows tasks such as AV automation for one room, climate control for another area, or security logics for the entire building to be developed and managed independently and optimally. Changes made in one program do not affect others; maintenance processes are simplified, and versioning and commissioning times are reduced.

Security compliant with corporate IT standards is a core feature of the CP4: 802.1X network access control, authentication with Active Directory®, support for SSH, TLS, and HTTPS protocols. The device ships from the factory authentication enabled and access to configuration is not granted without creating an admin account. Network operations teams integrate the CP4 with existing monitoring systems via SNMP v3, while BACnet/IP support facilitates direct communication with building management systems (BMS), enabling two-way integration for HVAC, security, and energy management. Additionally, Apple® HomeKit® integration (pairing via SIMPL and quick pairing with the QR on the device) allows seamless use with TSR-310 and the Apple ecosystem in suitable scenarios.

In summary, the Crestron CP4 offers a scalable, secure, and future-proof automation platform with powerful processing power, a modular software architecture, comprehensive physical and IP-based control interfaces, cloud/local management options, and high-level security features, suitable for projects ranging from single rooms to campus scale.
