Miracord 60 Turntable – Timeless Analog Experience from ELAC
The Miracord 60 Turntable is a high-end turntable produced by ELAC, combining decades of engineering experience with modern analog sound technologies. Designed for everyone from classical music lovers to detail-oriented audiophiles, this model allows you to listen to your records with unprecedented clarity thanks to its quietly operating servo-controlled motor, 22 mm thick die-cast platter, and noise-minimizing carbon fiber tonearm.
The gimbal bearing system in the carbon fiber tonearm minimizes friction, ensuring the needle progresses flawlessly through the grooves of the record. The CNC-machined 50 mm MDF body dampens external vibrations, supporting only the music signals to stand out. The Miracord 60 is a modern interpretation of a timeless sound experience, both aesthetically and technically.
Carbon Fiber Tonearm and High-End Tracking
ELAC Miracord 60 uses a tonearm made of carbon fiber, which is ultra-light and rigid for superior sound performance. Thanks to the gimbal bearing system, it provides frictionless and smooth movement, allowing the needle to navigate the record grooves with extraordinary precision.
The interchangeable headshell structure of the tonearm offers flexibility for use with different cartridges. This design minimizes both resonance and distortion.
Servo-Controlled Silent Motor and Speed Stability
The DC motor of the Miracord 60 controls the rotation speed 500 times per second with a special servo system. This allows the record speed to be automatically stabilized without manual intervention.
The Wow and Flutter value is reduced to below 0.12%, providing clarity and stability in analog sound. This system offers a much lower distortion rate compared to classic belt-drive motors.
Die-Cast Platter and Anti-Resonance Body Structure
The body structure, entirely CNC machined from a 50 mm MDF block, prevents external vibrations and ensures that the sound transmitted to the record surface remains pure.
The die-cast aluminum platter, with a thickness of 22 mm, increases stability while rotating due to its high mass and dampens vibrations. This platter is an example of high-level engineering both visually and audibly.
